The therapists at Center 4 Massage Therapy are highly trained, experienced, and dedicated to your overall well being. We each began our careers as state and nationally certified massage therapists and have pursued modalities we are passionate about, attaining Board Certification and beyond. Here's what we do:

Joyce graduated from Christopher Newport College with a B.A. in English and earned her Masters of Science in Education from Old Dominion University. She graduated from the Advanced Fuller School of Massage and has been a part of Center 4 Massage Therapy since 2003. A former school library media specialist and Teacher of the Year, she has been published in educational journals, presented at educational conferences, and designed and taught massage coursework at the community college level. In 2012, she retired from the field of education to become C4MT’s owner. Joyce enjoys listening to her clients and blending various modalities to meet their needs. With an educator's heart, she embraces research and knowledge, always looking for ways to enhance her skills. Joyce believes massage does make a difference in how a person feels, and that it plays a vital role in overall health and well being.
